For me, MESCO is a god sent help, they have helped me financially from the very moment I have been a part of the organization. I had lost my father when I was four; my mother had struggled a lot to manage the finance for my studies. I am truly blessed that I had become a part of this organization as it had helped us acquire financial stability and security. Not just financially, the mentors present in MESCO conduct counseling sessions and provide moral support which truly boosts one’s confidence and willing power to achieve more. I remember attending small gatherings during my teenage years in MESCO wherein the mentors would conduct fun learning activities which were in reality, they were the life lessons taught to us about our mental development, peer pressure and communication skills. I was also lucky enough to attend one of the personality development camps arranged by them where I have explored my potential and realized the confidence, I hold in myself. Currently, I am working in Epicenter Technologies Ltd. promoted as a Trainer coach, I have come so far thanks to MESCO’s contribution to my financial and emotional support. I am grateful to the Almighty for the blessing of being associated with MESCO since 1991. I have very find memories of all the founder members, trustees and staff of MESCO since my college days. I have seen this organisation grow and progress like Phoenix and love to be a part of any innovative activity being introduced by MESCO. Baby Nirvi is 3 yrs old girl, was suffering from Pre-B Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (type of blood cancer). When the family got to know about her disease it was a nightmare for them. Baby Nirvi required Chemotherapy treatment at Bai Jerabai Wadia Hospital for the children and needed further line of treatment. The cost of treatment was Rs. 3,00,000/- and it was becoming increasingly difficult for the family to manage expenses. They had exhausted their personal savings and help received from relatives was also limited. Nirvi’s father was the sole earning member of the 5 members family living in a rented house with very basic amenities at Mira Road. He was working as a salesman at a garment shop, earning a nominal income of Rs. 10,000/- p.m. With these limited resources it was very difficult for the family to arrange for the funds. Nirvi's father ran from pillar to post for the arrangement of funds. He was guided to MESCO by the hospital. It was a Nirvi's father’s faith that she will live a normal life one day. MESCO helped her and also guided them to approach other trusts for help. Due to timely treatment, today Nirvi is able to live a normal life. The family is very thankful to all the donors for their timely assistance.
